Steven Adler ordered to remain in rehab

Steven Adler was arranged by a Los Angeles judge to remain in drug rehabilitation at the Pasadena Recovery Center in California for at least the next month.

The ex-Guns N' Roses drummer--who pleaded not guilty Wednesday good morning (8/20) to drug charges in Los Angeles Superior Court--was arrested last calendar month and aerated with a felony count of heroin possession and a misdemeanor count of being under the influence of an opiate, according to published reports. He was released after bill $10,000 bail.

Adler--who reportedly stars in the secondment season of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab," which just wrapped shooting at the Pasadena center--was scheduled to star topology in a spin-off called "Sober Living," but the judge instructed the drummer to continue with his rehab as he awaits a September hearing.

John Lennon Killer Denied Parole Over Public Safety Concerns

Mark Chapman, the man who killed former Beatle John Lennon, has been denied parole for a fifth time.


The 53-year-old was told yesterday that he moldiness remain in prison for at least two more years because of "concern for the public safety and welfare".


Chapman shot Lennon when he was reversive to his apartment in New York with his wife, Yoko Ono, in December 1980.


He told the parole board that he had plotted Lennon's killing "with an essentially clear mind".


But they discharged his attempt, saying his conduct had "precipitated a horrendously tragic event which has wedged many individuals".


Chapman volition be allowed to utilize for release again in 2010.
